Legumi is a 'better-for-you' snack brand with a mission to make snacking, and food in general, nutritious and reliable again.
The brand was founded in 2025, in response to a food landscape that has increasingly shifted towards convenience, at the expense of health.
The reality is that our food environment is making us unhealthier without us realizing it. Approximately 70–80% of supermarket food is now classified as highly processed. This is particularly evident in snack foods: products full of artificial ingredients and additives, designed for speed and shelf life, but not for the body. Many people want to make conscious choices, but in practice, those choices are often limited before they can even be made.
Legumi was born from the feeling that there had to be a better way. An alternative that actually works. Real food, made with recognizable ingredients, without unnecessary processing. Snacks that don't work against the body, but work with it.
By choosing legumes and minimal processing, Legumi takes food back to basics. This creates a snack that fits into everyday life—simple, nutritious, and honest—and helps people regain control over what they eat.
At its core, Legumi offers a simple alternative made from legumes.
The first product is a high-protein snack with no additives, made from whole soybeans: 100% natural, minimally processed and naturally rich in nutrients.
Legumi is based on the belief that poor health isn't simply the result of individual choices. Our food environment often makes it unnecessarily difficult for people to eat well. That's why Legumi stands for food you can trust, without having to decipher labels or mistrust ingredients. Honest, transparent, and simple.
Because Legumi is made with real, recognizable ingredients, the body can do what it does best: process food naturally. No artificial additives or unnecessary processing, just pure nutrition that supports the body. This not only improves recovery and the microbiome, but also focus, energy, and daily functioning. And by choosing plant-based ingredients, it's also a conscious choice for the planet.
The experience that Legumi wants to offer is one of peace and trust.
Legumi was founded by Naut, whose background in biomedical engineering and lifelong connection to sports led to a deep interest in health and how the body truly works. Years of studying and delving into nutrition gradually changed his perspective on food, particularly on the impact of highly processed foods on long-term well-being.
After reading Tim Spector's "Food for Life," his perspective on everyday situations changed. A stroll through the supermarket became an exercise in self-awareness: seeing how much of the selection, especially within snack foods, was designed for convenience rather than nutrition. That moment marked a turning point. The gap between what science already knew and what people were actually offered felt too great to ignore, and it became the foundation of Legumi and the motivation that drives the brand to this day.
